CLOVIS, Calif. (FOX26) — A Clovis woman was arrested on Thursday night after allegedly fleeing the scene of a crash that left a pedestrian critically injured.

The Clovis Police Department says officers responded just after 10 p.m. to the intersection of Jefferson and Brookhaven Avenues, near Barstow and Clovis Avenues, for a man hit by a car.

An officer instructed the driver, identified as 45-year-old Francis Portillo of Clovis, to remain at the scene while first responders rendered aid to the victim.
