It matters not if you’re on the rootin’ side of things or you lean more to tootin’: Knott’s Berry Farm brims with an Old West-style moxie, thanks to its historic and lively Ghost Town.

You can visit the atmospheric area of the Buena Park theme park throughout the year, but when summer begins so do merry melodramatic escapades, the kind that boast plenty of vintage flavor and over-the-top antics.

It’s Ghost Town Alive!, one of the summertime offerings found at Knott’s Berry Farm. The Western-inspired antics begin June 12 at the destination, along with other upbeat offerings included under the theme park’s Summer Season line-up.

Miss Cameo Kate’s Burle-Q Revue is setting up spunky shop at the Bird Cage Theatre, Ghost Town’s beloved entertainment venue, while Spirits and Shenanigans is making its debut at Calico Saloon; the “harmonious romps” will include all sorts of sepia-tinged ditties and humorous reveries.

Knott’s Summer Nights presented by Blue Bunny is returning on June 12, too, for a multi-week run.

Live bands will pop up in Calico Park and Fiesta Plaza through Aug. 30, while a new Knott’s Summer Nights Market will feature an assortment of Asian dishes, as well as games and DJ tunes.

Ghost Town Alive! brings Western-style high jinks to Knott’s Berry Farm from June 12 through Aug. 30.

Cool-down temptations, including the famous Timber Mountain Log Ride, dot the part, along with indoor spaces where you can take a break from the sunshine.
