UC Berkeley staff discovered a dead man in bushes inside West Circle near Weill Hall on Friday morning. The Alameda County Medical Examiner and Coroner’s Bureau has not yet determined a cause of death.
The deceased man does not appear to have any affiliation with the university, according to campus spokesperson Janet Gilmore. There was no immediate evidence of foul play.
Gilmore said counseling services are available through Counseling and Psychological Services, and students can access campus counselors through University Health Services at the Tang center.
