CHP Bakersfield to host free Start Smart class
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The CHP Bakersfield Office is set to host a free Start Smart class for teenage drivers and their guardians.
The class is set for June 18 at 6 p.m. at the CHP Bakersfield Office located at 9855 Compagnoni St, according to organizers.
During the two-hour class, teenagers and guardians will learn safe driving habits, consequences of poor choices behind the wheel and tips of how to avoid a crash.
The class is free but space is limited. To register, call the CHP Bakersfield Office at 661-396-6600.
