16-year-old killed in Sacramento shooting, police say
The Sacramento Police Department said the 16-year-old was found on Wisconsin Avenue with a gunshot wound.

A 16-year-old boy was killed in a shooting early Sunday morning, the Sacramento Police Department said. The department responded to the 500 block of Wisconsin Avenue, west of Northgate Road. There, officers located the teenage boy with at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced deceased on scene, despite lifesaving measures. Crime scene investigator and detectives took over the investigation. Police are encouraging anyone with information on this incident to contact the department.
