Protesters heckled the Iranian soccer team as their bus drove through Los Angeles County on Sunday, June 14, ahead of their upcoming World Cup game against New Zealand.
Footage captured by @JoeBruin_Galaxy shows demonstrators shouting as the Iranian team’s bus drove through El Segundo en route to Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, where the squad was training.
“This team does not represent Iran and Iranian people. They represent the terrorist regime in Iran,” a sign reads. Protesters are heard repeatedly shouting “Shame on you.”
