Atwater Village—Fire damaged a two-story accessory dwelling unit today behind a home in the Atwater Village community of Los Angeles, authorities said.

Firefighters dispatched at 10:21 a.m. Sunday to 4100 block of W. Garden Ave., just east of the Golden State (5) Freeway, had the fire out at 10:42 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
