ORANGE County, CA. — Three days every year in January, Orange County sends volunteers out on the streets all throughout the day and night to count the number of people struggling with homelessness.

Tyson Whitaker is the founder of Seeking Him Outreach, and he goes out on the streets three times a week.
He said in the area he canvasses he has not noticed a decrease in people in need.
“I don’t think they are going down, they say there are a lot of resources which there are but to be honest with you, I would say they are really selective and picky about which ones get those resources,” Whitaker said.
