There are two more hazardous waste collection events scheduled in Oakland County this summer.

Registration for the NoHaz col­lection events will open approximately three weeks prior to each collection event.

Orion Township – 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, at Kensington Church, 4640 S. Lapeer Road..

Pontiac – 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, at Oakland County Service Center Campus, 1200 N. Telegraph Road.

Any resident of a NoHaz Consortium member community can attend any collection event.

If your community does not participate in NoHaz, residents may participate in the NoHaz collection events for a $135 charge per event.

Brandon Township and Village of Ortonville are not participating in the NoHaz program this year.

Former participating communities Rochester and Rochester Hills utilize SOCRRA for household hazardous waste services. Visit those city websites for information.
