A person of interest has been detained in connection with a deadly shooting of a 16-year-old boy on Sunday, according to the Sacramento Police Department. Just before 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, the department responded to the 500 block of Wisconsin Avenue, west of Northgate Road, for reports of person who had been shot. There, officers located the teenage boy with at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced deceased on scene, despite lifesaving measures.
