ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – The remainder of Tuesday’s game between the Atlanta Braves and San Francisco Giants has been postponed due to inclement weather.
The Giants held a 3-2 lead after the top of the second inning. Braves starter Grant Holmes allowed three runs on 55 pitches before a rain delay halted play prior to the bottom of the inning.
Drake Baldwin, who was reinstated from the injured list Monday, cranked a 473-foot home run to leadoff the game for Atlanta. It is the farthest-hit home run this year by any major leaguer.

The Braves and Giants will resume Tuesday’s suspended game at 2 p.m. Wednesday. The game will air on Braves on Gray. The second game of the series is scheduled to begin at 7:15 p.m. on Braves Vision.
All ticket holders from Tuesday’s suspended game will be admitted to Wednesday’s 2 p.m. continuation game. Gates will open at 1:30 p.m.
Wednesday night’s regularly scheduled game will still be played at 7:15 p.m. Gates for that game will open approximately one hour after the suspended game concludes.
Separate tickets are required for each game.
