California is offering free “Historian Passports” to state historic parks to celebrate Juneteenth and America’s 250th birthday. The passes, which normally costs $50, can be downloaded for free until July 6. Click here to download the free passThe pass provides unlimited visits to more than 30 state historic parks through the end of 2026.It includes access to Colonel Allensworth State Historic Park in Tulare County. Allensworth was founded, financed and governed by African Americans. In Sacramento, the pass includes access to Sutter’s Fort State Historic Park.A single pass can cover up to four people and can be used for unlimited visits starting on June 19.
