GIBSON COUNTY, Ind. (WFIE) – The Gibson County Sheriff’s Office says one woman is now under arrest after a crash Friday afternoon.
On June 19, at 1:12 p.m., Gibson County Central Dispatch received a report of a property damage accident in the 500 block of South 1300 East.
When authorities arrived at the scene, they found a 2016 Chevy Equinox left the roadway and went down an embankment, becoming partially submerged.
While speaking with the driver, the deputy detected that the driver, 52-year-old Vicki Pancake of Oakland City, was intoxicated.
At that point, the deputy began a roadside DUI investigation. Once the investigation was complete, Pancake was transported to the Gibson County Detention Center, where she was charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated.
