A man was arrested after an hours-long standoff in Cocoa Beach on Monday morning. The Cocoa Beach Police Department said it got a call sometime after midnight about a man armed with a gun. The man was located after “an extensive search,” and was taken into custody. The Rockledge and Cocoa Beach Tac Teams had to go in and get the man, Cocoa Beach police said. The store is on Atlantic Avenue north of 4th Street.
