Pop powerhouse Olivia Rodrigo is throwing her own music festival in Southern California this summer, and it will feature an all-women lineup. Proceeds from the event will be donated to charities that support the advancement and advocacy of women and girls.
The festival, which will take place on Saturday, Aug. 29 at Great Park in Irvine, is called Daisy Chain Fields and will feature performances by Rodrigo, Bikini Kill, Chappell Roan, Katseye, Sarah McLachlan, Fleetwood Mac vocalist Stevie Nicks, Yeah Yeah Yeahs frontwoman Karen O, and more.
“The lineup is truly insane and full of my heroes and friends. I firmly believe that joy, community, and music can be the drivers of meaningful change and I’m hopeful this festival will be just that,” Rodrigo said in a post on Instagram.
