World Cup action returns to the Bay Area Monday night when Jordan takes on Algeria in group stage play.

Kickoff for the Group J match at San Francisco Bay Area Stadium is scheduled for 8 p.m.

Both nations came up short in their World Cup openers last Tuesday. Jordan fell to Austria, 3-1, while Algeria was blanked by Argentina, 3-0.

Monday night’s clash will mark the fourth World Cup match at the South Bay stadium. One more group stage match – Paraguay vs. Australia – is scheduled for Thursday, followed by a Round of 32 contest featuring the United States on July 1.
