VOTE: Do you want the Tropical Rainforest Aviary to stay at the Fresno Chaffee Zoo?

The Fresno Chaffee Zoo Tropical Rainforest Aviary is closing due to safety concerns.

Tropical Rainforest Aviary has been a historic addition to the Zoo since its opening on May 14th, 1988.

At 38 years old, the exhibit no longer meets the Zoo’s standards for welfare and safety of the birds and a proper working environment for the staff.

The birds that were part of the exhibit have been relocated.

There are plans to change the exhibit into something new.
