BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Three illegal gaming machines and over 500 prohibited flavored tobacco and vape products were seized from the Golden Mini-Mart after police investigated a citizen complaint about illegal gambling.
The Bakersfield Police Department said on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at around 9:15 a.m., detectives from the Bakersfield Police Department Vice Unit responded to the Golden Mini-Mart, located at 1319 Golden State Avenue, in response to a citizen complaint regarding illegal gambling activity.
BPD said during the investigation, three illegal gaming machines were seized, along with money and 517 flavored tobacco and vape products, which are illegal under state law.
Police said one employee at the business was cited for possession and or/control of a slot machine.
