LANSING, Mich. – An Oakland County man got the surprise of a lifetime when he logged on to his Michigan Lottery account to do his Daily Spin to Win and found out he won a $358,122 Fantasy 5 jackpot.
The 66-year-old player, who chose to remain anonymous, matched the Fantasy 5 numbers in the June 3 drawing to win the big prize: 05-10-21-34-37. He bought his ticket online at MichiganLottery.com.
“Every now and then I will play Fantasy 5 online, so I’m familiar with the emails that come through when you win a few bucks,” said the player. “I saw an email about a prize and just assumed I’d won a few dollars again.
“Later that day when I logged on to my account to do my Daily Spin to Win, I couldn’t believe it when a pop-up came up saying I won $358,122. It was amazing!”
The lucky player recently visited Lottery headquarters to claim his prize. With his winnings, he plans to pay bills, buy a new car, and share with his kids.
