Long Beach PD looks for a Yukon in suspected hit-and-run – NBC Los Angeles

Long Beach authorities Wednesday sought the public’s help to find the driver and car suspected in an injury hit-and-run from last month.

The crash happened in a Naples neighborhood on Sunday, May 24 at around 11 p.m. when a dark-colored SUV struck a pedestrian who was crossing East 2nd Street near Tivoli Drive, according to the Long Beach Police Department.

The involved vehicle may be a GMC Yukon between 2000 to 2006 model years with a noticeable sticker or emblem on the lower corner of the back driver’s side window, police said.

The struck pedestrian was taken to a hospital with significant injuries, police said.
