Carmel’s Michelin standouts held steady in the 2026 California guide, with no new stars awarded on the Central Coast, but both of the city’s starred restaurants kept their honors.In the Michelin Guide California 2026 selection released on Thursday, Aubergine retained its two-star rating that it first received back in 2024, while Chez Noir kept its one-star distinction. Carmel’s Michelin standouts held steady in the 2026 California guide, with no new stars awarded on the Central Coast, but both of the city’s starred restaurants kept their honors.
