SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — An angry man was caught on camera throwing things at an SUV in San Francisco and hanging off the side of the victim’s vehicle while the driver tried to get away.
San Francisco Police Department officials said the incident happened on California Street near Parker Avenue in the Richmond neighborhood just after 2 p.m. Tuesday.
“Oh my God,” said one bystander who was watching the road rage incident unfold.
“He’s running him over. Call 911, call 911,” another bystander said.
A witness recorded video of the SUV driving down the street while the angry man clung onto the right front passenger window with his feet dangling. He is heard in the video shouting profanities at the driver.
The aggressive man’s car appears to be left behind in the street with the driver’s door open, video shows.
Police identified the aggressive man as Alfredo SalvioOrozco, 49, of San Francisco. After officers spoke with both men involved, SFPD said its investigation determined that SalvioOrozco vandalized the SUV “without provocation and made threats toward the driver.”
Officers placed SalvioOrozco under arrest, SFPD told KRON4. He was booked into San Francisco County Jail on suspicion of vandalism, making criminal threats, and throwing an object at a vehicle with intent to cause great bodily injury.
