Fabulous fall fashion from eight luxury retailers and international designers at South Coast Plaza will take to the runway on Sept. 10 at The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe for The Country Friends annual Art of Fashion fundraiser, a news release stated.
“We are so proud to partner for the 22nd year with South Coast Plaza, Southern California’s premier shopping and dining destination,” said Janean Stripe, board president of The Country Friends, in the news release. “And we are excited about this year’s stellar lineup of luxury designers and retailers.”
They include Balmain, Camilla, Eleventy, Eres, Ferragamo, Lanvin, Max Mara, and Monique Lhuillier.
Boutiques set up on The Inn’s lawn during the event will offer selections from A.P.C., Balmain, Camilla, Eres, Max Mara, and Vitra Eyewear, with a portion of proceeds benefitting The Country Friends chosen charities, selected by the nonprofit’s board in October after careful review.
The Art of Fashion, co-chaired by Keilene (Kiki) Hayward and Irina Fenison, with Honorary Chair Karen Gregg Hoehn, begins with a champagne reception sponsored by Linda Sansone and Tamara Lafarga-Joseph on The Inn’s lawn. Guests can browse silent auction items including designer handbags, health and wellness offerings, staycations and getaways.
A program, emceed by KFMB-TV News 8 Anchor Anna Laurel, and the fashion show will follow in an adjacent park. After the show, a luncheon on the lawn features a menu curated by Executive Chef Patrick Ponsaty, and a live auction.
The event concludes with “Sip, Shop, and Support,” the chance to continue shopping at the plaza’s boutiques, the news release stated.
