BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The city of Bakersfield Recreation and Parks is offering fun activities for children through its free drop-in program this summer.

The Mobile Recreation Summer Tour 2026 visits different parks to provide arts and crafts, games, sports, music and more for kids in grades K-8.

The next event is scheduled from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 28 at Beale Park, located at 500 Oleander Ave.

The tour held its first event June 13 at Jastro Park.

Below are the details about the upcoming events:

June 28: 6 p.m. – 8 p.m., Beale Park at 500 Oleander Ave.

July 11: 9 a.m. – noon, Stiern Park at 5201 Monitor St.

July 18: 9 a.m. – noon, Silver Creek Park at 7011 Harris Rd.

Aug. 1: 9 a.m. – noon, Windsor Park at 515 Windsor Park Dr.
