Roads are closed in Rancho Cordova due to a grass fire that burned several acres on Saturday. The Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District said the Grant Fire burned 16 acres and began at Douglas and Grant Line roads shortly after 1 p.m. Crews got containment of the fire, but Grant Line Road is closed between Chrysanthy Boulevard and Douglas Road. It is unknown when it will reopen. No structures were damaged in the fire.
