SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Sacramento police detained a man Saturday night after they say he barricaded himself inside a home leading to a SWAT team response.
Officers responded to the scene in the 5300 block of Callister Avenue following reports of a suspicious person making threats, according to the Sacramento Police Department.
Police said the man barricaded himself inside a residence, causing officers to establish a perimeter and deploy the department’s Crisis Negotiators and SWAT team.
The suspect was taken into custody. No additional information was immediately released, and the investigation remains ongoing.
