A hit-and-run collision shut down a stretch of busy Figueroa Street near USC Tuesday morning.
The crash was reported at 8:37 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Figueroa and Jefferson Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The Los Angeles Fire Department responded but did not take anyone to a hospital.
Public safety officials at USC issued an alert saying the crash and investigation shut down southbound lanes of Figueroa between Jefferson and Exposition boulevards, along the east side of the campus.
Figueroa was reopened at about 10:45 a.m.
