Just as the dust settled on a successful Luminosity Beach Festival this 2026, an iconic trance gathering held every year in Zandvoort, Netherlands, Luminosity has announced that next year they’ll go big: 2027’s edition will be a 7-day festival from June 21st to June 27th. This, to celebrate the event’s monumental 20th anniversary.
Luminosity Beach Festival is a well-known trance festival that has become the norm when it comes to the genre. Although there was a scare this year due to the code red heat warning, the days by the coast weren’t affected.
Originally founded more than two decades ago by founder Bo van Eck in 2007 it started as a simple idea on a Dutch music discussion forum, looking for fellow trance heads interested in a pure, dedicated event. He met co-organizer Otto in a Utrecht pub, and Luminosity was born with a tiny 5-DJ lineup.
With the announcement of the week long event, Luminosity noted the week will begin with pre-parties and the festival to officially start on the 21st. They have announced the following:

From Thursday the 24th of June onwards, Luminosity Festival returns to Zandvoort Beach, where thousands of trance lovers from around the world will come together for 4 days of music, connection, and new memories until Sunday the 27th of June.
