Los Angeles police Tuesday began investigation after another Los Angeles trading card shop was burglarized.
The latest burglary was reported Tuesday at 3 a.m. at the Poke Mall shop in the Pico-Robertson neighborhood. Police said thieves broke into the store on Robertson Boulevard and took off with $10,000 worth of trading cards
Three male suspects smashed their way into the shop, which had also been burglarized earlier this year in a crime detailed on the shop owner’s social media. Video showed the shattered glass storefront.
The owner noted on Instagram that it was a “rough start” to the morning, but the business is “going strong” along with an image of the boarded-up front door to the shop.
The suspects were wearing white surgical masks and all-dark clothing and fled in a black Mercedes-Benz, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The vehicle was last seen headed south on Robertson toward the Santa Monica (10) Freeway.
