Greer was not one of the Panthers’ regular penalty killers, but will likely be called upon to fill that role for the Ducks. Poehling and Alex Killorn proved to be a steady duo on the penalty kill this past season, with Washe supplementing them as the second duo, usually alongside Mikael Granlund. Greer’s physicality (over 200 hits in 2024-25 and 2025-26) will also bode well for head coach Joel Quenneville, who values hard checking and physical play from his bottom-6.
