OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. – After an email an Oakland County man thought he won a few dollars from a lottery prize, hours later he found out it was $358,122.
The man matched the Fantasy 5 numbers in the June 3 drawing to win the prize (05-10-21-34-37).
The 66-year-old player chose to remain anonymous.
The man says he plays every now and then and expected the email to be a much smaller prize.
“I saw an email about a prize and just assumed I’d won a few dollars again.” said the man. “Later that day when I logged on to my account to do my Daily Spin to Win, I couldn’t believe it when a pop-up came up saying I won $358,122.”
He bought his ticket online at MichiganLottery.com.
The man recently visited Lottery headquarters to claim his prize.
With his winnings, he plans to pay bills, buy a new car, and share with his kids.
