BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Law enforcement is looking for a man who was involved in a grand theft crime at a southwest Bakersfield home in May.

The Bakersfield Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying the alleged suspect involved in the theft that occurred on May 21, on the 4700 block of Winners Circle.

There, the suspect entered the victim’s backyard and removed pool equipment, resulting in thousands of dollars in damages and repairs.

BPD describes the suspect as a heavy-set male in his 50s.

He was wearing a dark plaid shirt and brown pants during the theft.
