Both teens were issued citations for driving without a license, and their e-motorcycles were impounded.
Their parents were also warned that if it happens again, they could face criminal charges.
“As electric modes of transportation become more popular, our officers will continue to enforce traffic laws to keep our public roadways safe,” police said.
Police also urged people to report reckless drivers by dialing 911 when it is safe to do so.
