LONG BEACH, Miss. (WLOX) — The Long Beach Police Department is investigating a deadly shooting that happened early Thursday morning.
Officers responded to the 1800 block of Allen Road around 4:40 a.m. following reports of gunfire.

Police Chief Billy Seal said a man was found dead at the scene with multiple gunshot wounds.
Harrison County Coroner Brian Switzer identified the victim as 38-year-old Neville Conner of Long Beach.

Long Beach Police named 38-year-old Hollis Wayne Russ as a murder suspect and issued a warrant for his arrest.
Officials said Russ was last seen at a home in Moss Point. Officials also confirmed that a police presence near Colleen Street in Moss Point is connected to the investigation.

Russ is considered armed and dangerous.
