A person suspected in a homicide was shot by police Thursday at Los Robles Regional Medical Center in Thousand Oaks, according to law enforcement sources.
Details about the homicide and what led up to the shooting, reported just after noon, were not immediately available. The suspect, who sources said was in police custody, was wounded in the shooting on the fourth floor of a medical center building.
It was not immediately clear why the suspect was at the hospital.
No other injuries were reported.
