A pedestrian was struck and killed by a driver in San Jose Wednesday evening, San Jose police said.
Police released few details about the incident, but said it occurred around 7:30 p.m. in the area of Monterey and Ford roads.
The pedestrian died at the scene after the collision.
The driver had non-life threatening injuries and remained at the scene before being hospitalized. Authorities did not immediately release the identity of the pedestrian.
