Four family members from Pontiac, including two children, died after a multi-vehicle crash on southbound I-75 near Grange Hall Road in Holly.
Michigan State Police confirmed one person has been taken into custody. Police say more details will be released after the individual is arraigned.
Witnesses tell MDN the victims’ vehicle was stopped on the side of the freeway (reason unknown) when a second vehicle came and struck it. The victims’ car split in half from the impact. We are told the other driver had been traveling at least over 100 mph.
The crash remains under investigation.
