Dutch Bros will open a newly constructed coffee kiosk July 3 near Ashlan and Willow avenues in Fresno, relocating just a few yards from its previous location to improve traffic flow and the customer experience.
Construction on the 1,190-square-foot coffee shop began at the start of 2026. The new location is Dutch Bros Coffee Fresno’s effort to ease traffic congestion caused by long drive-thru lines, a common occurrence for the fast-growing brand.
Jacob Cantu, marketing and events manager for Dutch Bros Coffee Fresno, confirmed the opening date in an email to The Business Journal.
“We moved to this new space to provide a better layout for both our customers and employees, featuring both a drive-thru and a walk-up window,” Cantu said.
Dutch Bros chose the site because of its proximity to the original 4982 E. Ashlan Ave. location, the franchise’s original home in the city.
“As this was our first shop in Fresno, we wanted to stay close to our roots while improving the overall experience for our loyal customers and employees,” Cantu said.
The new location features both a drive-thru and a walk-up window and will employ about 50 people.
There won’t be any opening promotions tied to the move, but Cantu said Dutch Bros Fresno has an anniversary in the fall.
“We are planning a celebration this October to mark 20 years in Fresno,” he said. “This will include giveaways and a community giveback.”
