Rivian to open Sacramento facility at former Fry’s Electronics building

Rivian, the electric vehicle maker, is expanding in Sacramento by leasing the former Fry’s Electronics building on Northgate Boulevard. City Councilmember Lisa Kaplan said the project is expected to bring new jobs in management, sales, service, and customer support. The facility will include a showroom, demonstration area, and vehicle service center. SACRAMENTO, Calif. —
