The Tilden Little Farm was built in 1955 and decades later, families still flock to the Berkeley hills to get a taste of urban farm life.
A variety of animals make their home at the farm, including cows, sheep, goats, pigs, rabbits, chickens and ducks. The East Bay Regional Park District takes care of the feeding and care of the livestock. Public feeding of animals at Tilden Little Farm was officially discontinued in Spring 2025, but visitors can still pet some of the animals.
The facility is free and offers stroller-accessible paths, hands-on animal brushing and adjacent nature displays.
More info on visiting the park can be found here.
