It’s not astronomical, but it will be a blast!
New Jersey is set to light up the sky as the sound of summer returns this week. So grab your lawn chairs and blankets, and get ready to enjoy the spectacular light shows around the Jersey Shore.
Below are scheduled Fourth of July firework events from Monmouth and Ocean counties. Make sure to check local town websites and Facebook pages as the weather could cause changes to the schedule.
Monmouth CountyJuly 4
Keansburg Fourth of July Family Fun Fest will be held on Saturday, July 4, at Baywalk East. Grab your beach chairs, blankets, and sunscreen, then settle in for a full day of family fun, entertainment, and patriotic celebration! The fireworks start at 9 p.m. will blast off fireworks for Independence Day right after the live performance from special guest.
July 4
Long Branch Independence Day Fireworks will be held on Saturday, July 4, as part of annual Oceanfest celebration. Starts at 1 p.m. with musicians, musical acts, food vendors and fireworks at 9 p.m.

Freehold Borough Independence Day celebration will take place from 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 5 at Freehold Raceway. There will be food trucks, and music from DJ Erich. Bring lawn chairs or blankets; no backpacks, coolers or pets. Fireworks will blast off at 9:20 p.m.

Freehold Township fireworks take place as part of Freehold Township Day, a celebration of veterans, from 4 to 11 p.m. on Saturday, July 11. The festival will offer free children’s rides and more; fireworks at 9 p.m.
Ocean CountyJuly 4
The annual Beach Haven Fourth of July Fireworks will be held at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 4. Bay Village will host fireworks on Taylor Avenue.

Come to see the July 4th Fireworks in Beachwood on Saturday, July 4 at 9 p.m. at the Beachwood Beach.

Seaside Heights will celebrate the Coca-Cola Fireworks Extravaganza on Sunday, July 4, the festivities will start at 9:30 p.m. on the boardwalk near Franklin Ave.

Lakewood Township to Host Unique “Drones and Fireworks” Independence Day Celebration in honor of America’s 250th Birthday on Sunday, July 5th. The drone show will begin at 8:45 p.m. leading into the fireworks show at approximately 9:00 pm.

Point Pleasant Beach will Celebrate Independence Day with spectacular Fireworks show on the beach at Jenkinson’s Boardwalk on Sunday, July 5!
