Online Survey for OCHN Seeks Thoughts on Substance Use

Oakland County, MI – Oakland Community Health Network (OCHN) is asking Oakland County residents to share their thoughts about substance use services in the community. This feedback will help OCHN understand what is working well, what challenges people face when trying to get help, and what support may be needed.
Community voices are important. The survey will help OCHN improve services for people and families affected by alcohol and drug use throughout Oakland County.
“At OCHN, we believe the best services start by listening to the people we serve,” said Dana Lasenby, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of OCHN. “This survey gives community members a chance to share their experiences and ideas. Their feedback will help us strengthen prevention, treatment, recovery, and harm reduction services for years to come.”
Every three years, OCHN reviews substance use disorder services and creates a new Substance Use Disorder Strategic Plan. The information gathered through this survey will help guide OCHN’s 2027–2029 Substance Use Disorder Strategic Plan and support better services across Oakland County.
Your feedback can make a difference. Taking the survey is voluntary, and all responses are confidential. Your answers will be combined with others to help improve substance use services in Oakland County, and no individual responses will be identified.
The Substance Use Disorder Community Needs Assessment is open to all Oakland County residents through July 24, 2026. OCHN encourages residents, people with lived experience, family members, providers, and community partners to take the survey and help shape the future of substance use services in Oakland County.
