As illegal fireworks ignite across Bakersfield, Fire Department works to contain them on America 250

BAKERFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — On the Fourth of July, fireworks light up the sky of thousands of cities across the country, but not all of them are ignited legally.

17 News’ Connor Dore went on a ride along with the Bakersfield Fire Department as they chased down illegal fireworks on America’s birthday.
