UC San Diego Police on Saturday arrested a 29-year-old man on suspicion of burglary and vandalism at Fallen Star, a crooked, life-sized blue cottage that serves as a permanent art exhibit on the roof of the Jacobs School of Engineering.

A university spokesperson said the man was taken into custody about 7 p.m. at the exhibit, part of which hangs off the side of the 7-story building.

Police did not describe the nature of the alleged burglary or vandalism. However, a photo posted to Reddit on Sunday shows two broken windows and the words Let Me Out sprayed just outside one of the broken windows.

Online jail records indicate the man remains in custody in lieu of $25,000 bail, but only list burglary as the alleged offense. He is slated to be arraigned in San Diego Superior Court on Wednesday.

UCSD said the man is not affiliated with the university.

The furnished house, whose tilt can cause dizziness among visitors who step inside, was created by South Korean artist Do Ho Suh and placed on the roof in 2012. The exhibit was commissioned by the renowned Stuart Collection.
