LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Louisville police are investigating a non-fatal shooting that happened Monday night.
LMPD says officers were called shortly before 9:30 p.m. to a report of a shooting in the 1100 block of S. 17th Street in the California neighborhood.
When they arrived, officers found an adult man outside with gunshot wounds and rendered first aid until EMS and Louisville Fire arrived.
The man was alert and conscious during transport to UofL hospital
Police say his injuries appear to be non-life threatening.
Investigators say the shooting actually occurred in the 1600 block of W. Oak Street. No suspects have been identified.

Police also ask anyone with cell phone video or surveillance footage from the area to share it.
