KDPS: power outage caused by hit and run

KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety says Oakland Dr. and Parkview Ave. are closed due to a hit-and-run investigation.

KDPS posted about the crash at 2:21 A.M.

KDPS says the crash also caused a power outage.

According to Consumers Energy’s outage map, over 3,000 customers are without power in that area right now.

We don’t yet know who all was hurt in the hit-and-run.

It’s unclear at this time when the road will reopen.

Consumers Energy estimates power restoration in the area for 9 P.M..
