PINE BELT, Miss. (WDAM) – A Jones County man who was wanted after a recent shooting has been arrested in Long Beach.
The Jones County Sheriff’s Department says that 26-year-old Robert Brickhouse was arrested on a felony warrant after receiving a tip about his location in Long Beach.

Officers with the Long Beach Police Department went to a house and found Brickhouse, where he was taken into custody shortly after. He was taken back to Jones County and charged with aggravated assault – manifest extreme indifference to life.
Brickhouse was wanted after a man was shot near Ellisville last week. The victim was taken to a regional hospital and treated for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. Brickhouse was urged to turn himself in to the authorities after the incident.
Brickhouse’s first appearance will be at the Jones County Justice Court on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. He is being held at the Jones County Adult Detention Facility until then.
