Two top-ranked middleweight fighters will face off at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento on Aug. 22. “UFC Fight Night: Hernandez vs. Rodrigues” will be live in the arena at 5 p.m. and will host prelims, which are fights with up-and-comers, at 2 p.m. Tickets are set to go on sale starting Friday, July 10, at 7 a.m. at Golden1Center.com. The tickets will be limited to eight per person. UFC Fight Club members will be able to purchase their tickets early on Wednesday, July 8, at 7 a.m. on the official UFC website. UFC Newsletter subscribers will have access to a special internet ticket presale on Thursday, July 9, at 7 a.m. In order to access this specific presale, users need to register for the UFC newsletter before Thursday on the UFC website.Anthony Hernandez and Gregory Rodrigues are both looking for a breakthrough during the night’s headlining fight. Hernandez, (15-3), who trains in Dunnigan, is looking to get back into the win path after he lost his last fight on Feb. 21 to Sean Strickland during his fourth Fight Night. Hernandez rose to the top of the middleweight class by taking out noteworthy names like Roman Dolidze, Brendan Allen and Michel Pereira. Rodrigues, (15-3), who trains in Deerfield Beach, Florida, is looking to get his first win in his second Fight Night, losing to Jared Cannonier in his first fight night. Rodrigues is currently on a three-fight win streak, delivering devastating knockouts against Bruno Ferreira, Jack Hermansson and Brad Tavares. With this first Fight Night win, he’s looking to break into the division’s Top 10 fighters. Also taking place during the UFC Fight Night is Dolidze vs. De Ridder. Both are middleweight veterans with many knockouts during their decorated career.
