JONES COUNTY, Miss. (WHLT) – Jones County deputies announced a shooting suspect was arrested in Long Beach.
Investigators said Robert Brickhouse was arrested on a felony warrant at a Long Beach home. He was extradited to Jones County and charged with aggravated assault manifest extreme indifference to life.
Missing man found deceased in Lamar County lake
According to investigators, Brickhouse is accused of shooting a man at a Jones County home last week and fleeing the scene. The victim was transported to a regional hospital and treated for a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

Brickhouse is being held at the Jones County Adult Detention Facility pending his initial appearance in Jones County Justice Court on July 8, 2026.
