A spokesperson for Yolo Transportation District, known as YoloDT, said the transportation services are operated by a private contractor. “This summer, Yolobus is transitioning from our current contractor Transdev to a new contractor, MV Transportation,” Haley Ausserer-Zelaya said. “There are many complex elements involved in making this change, and it is causing disruptions to our services that may continue through the month of July.”She said that most current bus operators will be hired by the new contractor but “their availability is impacted in the near-term as they navigate the transition to a new employer.” “Our team is working to minimize the impact to Yolobus riders and to provide updates about any service disruptions as soon as they are available,” she said.
